How is the Greek and especially the Athenian queer art scene defined today? Does such a distinct artistic community exist, what is its character, what is its impact, its influences, its points of reference? How much is queer art accepted and encouraged by educational institutions, organisations and the art world in general? Is there fertile ground for queer artists in Greece, is there interaction with and support from the wider LGBTQA+ community? What impact has the pandemic had on the queer scene? This is the central problematic of the live discussion that will take place on 4/6 at the Trianon Cinema 6-8pm in the framework of The Queer Archive Festival 2021,

Thodoris Antonopoulos is a journalist. He has worked in a number of media, participated in various editorial efforts and, in recent years, he has been a member of the editorial team of Lifo free press and lifo.gr.
He was one of the first openly LGBTQA+ activists in Greece and, as a professional, he stands firmly on the side of the community.

 

Πώς ορίζεται σήμερα η ελληνική και ειδικότερα η αθηναϊκή queer art σκηνή; Υπάρχει μια τέτοια διακριτή καλλιτεχνική κοινότητα, τι χαρακτήρα έχει, ποια είναι η απήχηση, οι επιρροές, τα σημεία αναφοράς της; Πόσο αποδεκτή είναι και πόσο ενθαρρύνεται από τα εκπαιδευτικά ιδρύματα, τους θεσμούς, τον χώρο της τέχνης γενικότερα η queer art; Υπάρχει γόνιμο έδαφος για queer καλλιτέχνες και καλλιτέχνιδες στην Ελλάδα, υπάρχει αλληλεπίδραση με και στήριξη από την ευρύτερη λοατκι+ κοινότητα; Τι αντίκτυπο είχε στη συγκεκριμένη σκηνή η πανδημία; Αυτή είναι η κεντρική προβληματική της ζωντανής συζήτησης που θα διεξαχθεί στις 4/6 στο σινέ Τριανόν 7-9μμ στα πλαίσια του The Queer Archive Festival 2021 με τη συμμετοχή των

Ο Θοδωρής Αντωνόπουλος είναι δημοσιογράφος. Εργάστηκε σε σειρά μέσων, συμμετείχε σε διάφορες εκδοτικές προσπάθειες και τα τελευταία χρόνια είναι μέλος της συντακτικής ομάδας του Lifo free press και του lifo.gr.

Υπήρξε από τους πρώτους ανοιχτά λοατκι+ ακτιβιστές στην Ελλάδα και  βρίσκεται ως επαγγελματίας σταθερά στο πλευρό της κοινότητας.
