Lukasz Leja is a New York–based artist, originally from Poland. Working primarily in oil on canvas, his paintings are shaped by a background in architecture and explore themes of queer love, kink, and sex. Leja often includes himself in the work, taking self-portraits posed with his finished pieces. He is a recipient of the Tom of Finland Emerging Artist Award.
